Where Did Everyone Go?? :)

I just noticed that no one has updated or posted anything since APRIL???  So, I thought I'd give this Blog another shot and update a photo of my baby girl...oh wait, did I just say Baby??  Yeah, she's not a baby anymore!  She's a full blown running toddler!!  :(  Where oh where does the time go???

Aubree's 1st Easter

Here is a slideshow of some of my favorite photos from Easter. Aubree did a lot better than I thought she would. I took her around to the eggs, she'd pick it up...and was suppose to put them in the basket her daddy was carrying, but mommy would end up having to take them from her. She wanted to hold on to each of them and put them in her mouth. I love the pictures of her cousins, Rylyn and Kelton where they're reaching for the eggs. I think we did a pretty good job of hiding them at "toddler" level.

Joseph James has Arrived!!

Hey ladies! My baby boy has finally hit the scene- just in time for Easter!! Joseph James weighed in at 9 lbs., 9 oz., and was 20.5 inches long! A big boy! They had to use the vacuum AND a lot of elbow grease to get him out- and it was a c-section- dang! :) I guess I just grow them big, what can I say? :) Anyhow, things are going great- we were released on Saturday, and I am just head over heels with this kid- look at those bunny ears- can you blame me?? :)

Maya's update

Here's my sweet Maya - she'll be 3 months old on Wednesday (3/11/09) (or 13 weeks on Thursday - however you count them!)! I can't believe how time flies!! She is amazing me everyday day with the things she does. Her current tricks include the cutest smile in the world, grabbing her animals hanging on her gym, rolling from her tummy to her back and sleeping about 9 or 10 hours at night in her crib. (too bad we can't get naps to last more than 30 minutes...don't know what's going on there...) I have officially quit my job to stay at home with her as well as run our at-home business, so between those 2 things, I'm keeping pretty busy!!
Thanks for the blog reminder, Sarah -- hope things are going well with Maya's soon-to-be 2nd cousin (or whatever they'll be to each other!!!)

Aubree's Update

As for Aubree's update:

She will be 9 months on the 15th and she weighs in at about 16 1/2 pounds. She has become little miss independent, or so she thinks! When I hold her up by her sides or under her arms, she takes my hands and pushes them away as if to say, "Mommy...I can do it!" and mommy keeps saying...."No, you may 'think' you can, but you still need me!!!"

Phoebe- Almost 15 Months!!

Time flies, and all that jazz...but I STILL can't believe that she's almost 15 months old! Just to update you...she is walking, NOT talking (much), clapping, saying "uh-oh," playing dress up, sleeping great, chasing the dogs around, waving, eating like a horse, and melting hearts on a daily basis! How are the rest of you and yours doing???

New Mommy!

I know it's been a while...wanted to post a couple pictures of the newest Baum...Maya Mackenzie!! She was born on December 11, 2008 - 7 lbs, 6 ozs, 21 inches long at 2:22am! After an almost perfect pregnancy, she threw us a curve at the very end by making me have to have an emergency C-section since her heartrate got erratic during labor, but all is well now and she is doing wonderful!!
